Full-Time Programmes (Regular Trainees)

Entry is open to applicants with any of the following:

• Senior High School Certificate, or evidence of at least two years SHS education (SSCE/WASSCE passes including English and Mathematics)
• Middle School Leaving Certificate (MSLC)
• Junior High School Certificate — completed JHS with a BECE pass including English and Mathematics
• Technical school applicants: BECE plus at least two years of technical education/training in a relevant trade area
• Diploma/Degree holders (for short courses in a specific skill)

Part-Time Programmes (In-Plant Training)

Skill enhancement training programmes (3, 6, and 12-month short courses) for:

• Degree/HND/Diploma holders seeking a specific skill to enhance employability
• Workers looking to upgrade their skills in a specific area

Informal Applicants

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to read and write
• At least two years of apprenticeship training under a registered Master Craftsman
• A pass in the written examination/interview conducted by the institute
